Thread: Recurring roadtrip dream

I’ve had a recurring dream since I was like 12 years old. Every 2 or 3 years I have the same dream and wanted to see if someone has had a similar experience.

In my dream I’m always on the back of a sedan car and my parents are on the front. We’re on a road trip through some flat infinite dessert in like ps1 graphics and the road goes into two big rocky mountains, when we get to the mountains, the road goes up and to the right and we get to a tropical seaside town on the side of the mountain. Looks a lot like a brazilian small town with colorful houses and lots of trees. The time is allways around sunset and I can see the sun going down into the sea. We stop at a restaurant and I get an orange juice with those little umbrellas and there I remember I have been there already and immediately wake up.

I’ve had this same exact dream lots of times and my brain always seems to remember I’m dreaming on the orange juice part and I can’t continue the dream. I wonder what else is in that small colorful town. Anyone had a similar experience?
