Sounds like a good dream. |

Had a dream a couple of nights ago where I was in hell. I find a red spray paint can and spray paint a stone wall with the words.... "Jennifer was here." So after this I get lifted to heaven. The dream itself explains that because God has died. God's rules said good people got to be in heaven and bad people got to be in hell. So the universe takes over from God and takes me to hevean because I am a good person. |

It's an interesting dream. Can't say I've ever had any dream involving hell in any serious form, not that I can remember. Maybe by some people's definitions I might have had dreams in places resembling limbo and hell in some ways but nothing that was a personal hell to me, at any rate. I've had at least one dream with angels, which was an interesting one, but unfortunately I don't know where that dream went, think I wrote it down on paper so might just be lost amongst other papers. |

Singled out from some of my favourite quotes from Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri: "Risks of [Planet] flowering: considerable. But rewards of godhood: who can measure? - Usurper Judaa'Maar: Courage: to question."
It didn't say anything about how god died. jus that he did. then lifted e up in a beam of light to a flat plan of clouds with nothing else. I dream about hell or hevean at least once or twice a year. |

i DO NOT BELIEVE INB GOD,,, not as a certainty though. I am an agnostic/athiest.. kind of at the same time. I just haven't been given a god reason for believing in said being. religion was a absolute good force in the world. it still can be though, sadly I find that words like christian and muslim usually are nearly meaningless. people usaly use religious teaching as a wrapper for what they already believe. i.e six different Christians in the room that probably have 6 different beliefes systems ut of that. I used to be christian but I started listening to athiest and realized that a lot of there arguments are being misrepresented. plus\ despite being athiest or secular.. I love angels. i feel they have been pigeon holed to long. this love persist and as instilled into me by my grandma, |
|
So you used to be a Christian .... but then started listening to atheists? |

church was non denominational. i did attend church thoough. |

I think it's a positive dream. I wonder if the idea that you still went to heaven even though "god was dead" shows that you personally don't need a religious external god to experience your own spirituality or self-love. God can be many things to many people, after all, and for example, for some, the universe is god. The idea of good and bad people going to heaven or hell may even be more of a reference to karma than actual heaven or hell. For example, self-love is easier to achieve when you're a good person; you feel good about yourself in general. Whereas someone who does evil things may live in a kind of torment of self-hate. *shrug* Just thoughts. |

It was nether. this was about the time i realized I personally was in two different incelor groups. I swear thug hearing things fr0m the other side was eye opening. most the things I heard about the left or athiest were straw men.I grew intrigued. I really wasn't angry at the church or it's members. learinng about everything that is just wrong with te story of noahs ark was the death nail.. not that it was a sudden pop. I just realized one day that some day n the past i had just stopped believing. christian are pretty chill in general.. I fell that most religion use books as more a wrapper for their own beliefes and not the other way around. I have christian friends. there are ter christians or religious people that give yu guys a bad name though. I just felt like the things i believe didn't make as much since in the light f he mounting evidence to the contrary. |

Although it might be a bit off topic, I want to add that I think there's a difference between people who are raised in a certain religion (who often do leave), and people who choose that religion for their own later in their lives. I think many people don't discover their true spiritual identity (or lack thereof) until some point later in life - even if that's just to affirm what they were raised believing. It's a very subjective and personal thing based on unique life experiences. |

Just a reminder that the topic of this thread is Kuni's dream. Kuni is welcome to reply to your questions about her views on religion, but she does not have to explain her religious beliefs if she does not wish to. That would be more of a topic for Extended Discussion, and only if the original poster wanted to discuss such a topic. |

Aussie musician: Please get to the point that you are trying to make. Also, please refrain from asking about personal beliefs. It kind of come across as a bit obtrusive that the OP is not obligated to answer. |
