      (Literally) mapping dreams

Although I'm not yet skilled in the art of lucid dreaming, there are always a few dreams that I have that are interesting, not only because of the plot, but because of the setting. I have also always wanted to be able to share those amazing dreamscapes with others, so I decided, just today, that I'd try to start a 'map every interesting dream' thing here. If you want to put your own maps up, feel free! (No, I don't love maps; I just thought it would be easy access for accurate dream world incubation) First, I will share my map of this dream. Just note, I drew these in notes on my iPad, so my already terrible handwriting may be unreadable. I apologize for my awful drawing skills as well. The grid's nice though. Don't worry- I will offer an explanation of each island displayed right before its individual map, including name, backstory, etc.. I think I've done enough intro; onto the maps! (Final note, I promise. Most of the island names were given to me by a squid person. I did not create them, except the isle of beans.)

      The Oruchi Sea

This is the extent of what I saw in my dream.

      Ködor
The southernmost island in the Oruchi sea. A small island with a single beach to the north and a single village of the same name. This fishing village is always surrounded by thick fog less than a kilometer out. This thick fog keeps other islands out of view and any sailors away. Over hundreds of years, this lead the inhabitants to believe that Ködor was the only bit of land in the world. No inhabitant dares to go past this layer of fog, in fear of punishment from the gods.

      Isle of Tc'ude
An isle just past the fog barrier. There, friendly squid people live. To the northwest, there is a pier, where visitors can have ships repaired or built. Named after the founder of the island, parent of all squid people, and leader of the squid people. I only was able to view the pier area in the dream this occurred in.

Dülkvetr, Sap Pits, And Tar Pits
Dülkvetr is an island surrounded in a thin, purple mist. Its trees are purple and withering, and it's terrain is rather flat. It's accompanies by two companion isles, the Sap Pits and the Tar Pits. I was only made aware of these two volcanoes (that apparently explode with their respective materials) by the squid in my crew who mentioned it out of the blue whilst exploring the island of Dülkvetr. From what I could tell, Dülkvetr is the largest island in the Oruchi Sea area I saw. There were ruins, but I woke up before seeing much.

      Isle of Beans
I named this island after the beanstalk that grows right in the center, stretching beyond the clouds. However, despite wanting to visit this island first, I only got to see it from afar, over at the pier on the Isle of Tc'ude, as I chose to go to Dülkvetr first.

      Dokè
A squid told me that this island was called Dokè. The west-most island is brimming with grayish mountains, and I couldn't see the full extent of it because of this. I only viewed Dokè from the pier

      Infant Isles
The Infant Isles are a bunch of baby islands clustered together in a volcano hotspot. I only viewed it from the pier.

      Valis1 and naturespirit like this.
That certainly is a nice red button you have there.

It'd be a shame if someone were to...

      Press it.
