Thread: Dreams in dreams

May you find yourself cozy in the mouth of an alligator again soon so you can share what dreams will come of it. I've dreamed in dreams. I think the furthest I've ever went is 3 dreams deep. In the first dream I was lucid and intentionally put myself to sleep. The dream I had after that was non lucid but very vivid but I felt warmly sleepy. I laid down and fell asleep again. The dream that came was another non lucid. In that one I felt at peace and was singing that same lull-a-bye as I wandered a pristine wooded area full of shifting mist and sunbeams through the trees. I don't remember anything after that. I hope to Poe my way through dreams again soon.

Thanks Olorin, funnily my last dream in a dream was also a beautiful wood too, that tuned into a world tree.

'Beautiful dream, I'm in a magical conifer forest that stretches to a beach it's dusk and stunning, I sleep there and wake again and it's twilight I walk up and into the forest, the trees get denser and the sandy path turns to wood.
I realise I'm in giant conifer on one of it's branches the tree is huge with different worlds on it's branches all attached to a central trunk.
After that I turn elemental, swapping from fire to soil, and then air ect.'

I had this a few years ago, shit was trippy. The first dream was really abstract, but the second one had more thematic. Whats crazy is I thought I had woken up the first time, but when I woke up again it freaked me out. My dreams never make as much sense as the one you described. Mine usually have weird architecture and strange happenings.

Mine vary, the first dream I remember like this I was a dragon in the second dream in.

I'll share as it was pritty cool it was also one of them dreams that seems to go on for years. ( I don't shape-shift in dreams that much but when I do it's awesome.

The dreams in dreams is something I'd like to explore more but now my kids are back at school I fear my time to dream will be cut short again. Oooh, and interestingly, when I was looking back threw my old dream stuff to C&P this, I also found my lucid were I was not in control was also a dream in a dream.

I had a dream in a dream last-night.
First part was a long night walk threw Northumberland (where I grew up)..
I was with a few people and we were walking from my old Grans house to an Aunty's home, about 7 miles threw dark countryside.

There was a shop in the front of my aunts house and then a dark back garden with a drystone wall, there is lots of wired stuff the stars seemed to come right down to the grass.

In the garden were lots of other people, some awake and some asleep - it was fairly quiet and I went to sleep there.


In the dream, dream. I'm a dragon/dinosaur type of thing

I have a long pointed face and 2 triangle shaped wings, a small pointed horn 2 clawed feet, scales and pointy teeth.

I can talk to the other dino's with thought. We have an underground city, with rivers flowing threw it, but it's a bit of a dump.
Just a messy series of caves, mainly we live in a pine forest outside of the caves.

Our river is drying up, and we need the river water to hatch our eggs.

We decided to dam the water flowing into the city with tree's and as one of the flying Dinos I'm required to rip up trees and block the river as it flows to the city.

Some time passed and a lake builds up at the city wall...... but the cave/city dwelling dino's got angry at us for blocking there river up, they need the water too.

I think they destroyed the dam causing a flood.... I do remember we have a big fight about it though - a huge dino battle.

I was fighting in the air, I discovered I could also heal other dinos using my horn - it was a bit like a my little pony horn
The battle is the last part of the dino dream I get hurt and I remember I fell from the sky with something I'd been healing and as I fell I fell back into the first dream.

But I was still a dino, but smaller - human size. It was daytime now and ended up going to a school/church type of place, lots of old school friends were there and were all dressed in white robes, like school nativity angels.
I was still scaly and wired but I'm human shaped. They all seemed to be afraid/repulsed by me. I wasn't to bothered cause I could still fly and it seemed like a fair trade

The last bit of the dream I was exploring the buildings and watching people.

Wow, thats crazy. Im never something else in my dream, always some variant of myself. I also never really have all that much power in my dreams either.

Your dreams make me jealous, dreammouse, and make me want to try a dream in a dream asap. I was never good at it but if I make the DinD one of my holy trinity of lucid goals I just may get there sooner rather than later. It has been a long time since I tried this. Thank you for inspiring my lucid goals.
