Were they dream guides?

As I wrote I'm back to lucid dreaming after ten years. Ten years ago I had a few and there is one that always made me wonder.

I had then a big crush for a girl (not corresponded). I got lucid and i tried to summon her, but instead a purple background appeared and two middle aged men started an exhibition late show style, which I promptly blocked. "Who are you? What are you doing here? I wanted G." They replied me that they could give me advice, so that I asked: "what can i do to conquer her?" And the answer was "not much, maybe you can try to spend some time with her, have a walk with her but you don't have many chances".

They were fucking right. I should have listened to them.
Were they dream guides? Unfortunately I stopped long time and never seen them again. I find it weird anyway that they were two.

Dream guides basically assist the dreamer. Even giving them advice so yeah they were dream guides during that moment but its important to keep in mind that not everything you hear from them may be true. So its still good that you gave it a shot even though they can remind or bring to our attention important points.

I know that but they aren't fortune tellers that can predict your future and be 100% of the time right.

Oh sure, of course.
Then I misinterpreted your sentence. I don't expect they lie but it is also very likely that they talk to me honestly, because they are me, so there is no need to lie. Of course as the saying says: "the answer is inside you, but is wrong"

But still. I summoned a person and instead two different people arrived and gave me advice that result to be true. I find it outstanding. But my real answer was if they could possibly be dream guides (whether should not be because in my case the dream guide is supposed to be a woman... or not?)
