So growing up when it came to topic of sleeping I have always been very weird. I had severe night terrors when I was younger (thinned out over the years and the last one was around 2010) and I would sleep walk and sleep talk but would not remember any of it the next day (mother always told me about them) the only thing I could ever remember was my dreams because they have always been so vivid and realistic. Also in the last 2 years I have had 2 sleep paralysis experiences, Last night's experience made me search for answers as to why I am so connected with sleep, dreams and why I do the things that I do. So usually I sleep in pretty late and my mother when she got up in the morning would always shut my door to try not to wake me and she tells me that sometimes I just sit straight up in bed and give her a weird far-away look and ask "What are you doing?" And then I would just fall back on the bed and continue sleeping. When I was younger mother caught me trying to walk outside at 4 in the morning, wrapped in a blanket and she asked me what I was doing and I gave her the far away look and said "i'm going out to play" another time when my sister had to live with us for a while she would get off work late (after midnight) and she would come home and she said she found me sitting in the hallway and when she approached she said I said "Keep the spotlight's off me!." Last night however there was something different, you see (because of the sleep paralysis experiences and a demonic dream) I have to sleep with the light of the TV on but no other lights besides that and when mother got up this morning the main light in my room was on and I was asleep with it on and I never have it on when I go to bed so that means at some point in the middle of the night I stood up, turned the light on, laid back down and thats it. I don't remember any of it and I just want to know what is wrong with me? Recently I had to look up the complete definition of sleep walking and I discovered sitting up in bed counts as sleep walking. |
