Thread: Hypnagogia like an old school animation

Hi guys,
So like the title says I have had hypnagogic imagery several times while attempting to fall asleep and I've noticed that it is similar to old school animations, like the ones where you play the same repeating scene over and over. There seems to be a flicker in between each frame of the repeating sequence. For example, just today I had imagery of a cartoony star exploding and geese flying in the sky where it was the same 2 second or so long scene repeating several times. I was wondering if this is normal as I find it quite interesting, any thoughts or opinions are welcome.

Ps. I've just learned the style of animation I'm thinking of is to do with a Phenakistoscope or Zootrope, so yeah haha.
