So lately I have been having sudden short strange dreams and I find myself acting out on them. They are not violent dreams just strange. They don't have a story behind them it is just sudden. For example. One night I suddenly dreamt my 10 month nephew was about to fall off the headboard to my bed. And I was trying to hold him up so he wouldnt fall but i was struggling. (My head board is not that tall but in my dream it was) Then I must have woken up bc I realized I was actually kneeling up by my headboard pushing up my curtain that was wrapped around the post. My heart was racing and it took me a bit to fall back asleep.
Last night I was dreaming I was trying to hold something up ( only thing i remember in this dream) and I was woken up when my bf asked what I was reaching for? That's when I realized I was sitting up with my arms extended out and upwards.
This has been going on for about 2-3 months now and I don't know why it's happening. Has anyone else experienced this or knows what this would be called?
