Sleep paralysis is a natural step on the way to a dream, your body just fell asleep before your brain did fully :p
That's a relatively tame hallucination for sleep paralysis anyway, you should be encouraged by this experience because it proves you were close to achieving a lucid dream 
Also just a tip, if you're sleep deprived you're more likely to experience sleep paralysis when performing wbtb or just sleeping in general, so try to make sure you're well rested to avoid any nasty experiences with demon chickens of the mind
