Does dream Incubation Really work? Is it easier then getting a Lucid as a beginner?

I would love to make myself have a zombie dream tonight (: I could just use dream incubation every night until i start getting lucid haha. Just want to know if it works though

Of course dream incubation works. Only you control your dreams! Incubating a dream is a matter of controlling that control. Your focus of attention is what you're really controlling. Incubating a dream is a matter of having your attention in the ballpark of where you want while you're dreaming. You focus your attention on something you want to dream about strongly enough that the momentum of your attention carries into your dreams. Like sperm reaching an egg, most of your attention won't make it past the mind wandering into your dream world, but with a bit of luck some of it will and you'll have your desired dream. This is easier than becoming lucid because the concept of dreaming doesn't have to come across your mind during the dream.
