Thread: Listening to Music in Dreams

A while back I had this dream that I was working out and listening to music. The music was one of my favorite Christian songs, oceans by hillsong united. It sounded as if I were listening to it normally when I'm awake. Is it weird that I could hear the music with the quality of it when I'm awake? Could I do this in a lucid dream to, listen to my music without it sounding "dreamified"?

I love that song.

Anyways, that's something I want to try because the other day I was listening to Spontaneous Me by Lindsey Stirling and it sounded so real

Ok, so I'm not alone...

No, I've had dreams of songs too. I had one dream in which "making Plans For Nigel" was being played but in the dream it was "Making Plans For Rachel".

I had a couple dreams recently that included songs I've only listened to a couple times but they sounded so real at the time, like exactly as I remember while awake. It's crazy how well the brain can replicate stuff like that.

Sometimes in my dreams, I'll play piano (I can in waking life too) and it sounds fantastic, but it's usually songs I've never heard before and/or I forget what it sounded like when I wake up. However, I always seem to remember it being awesome! lol
