I've heard stuff about dream residue, but I've never really thought about it and tried to link it to my extensive, non LD journal... Yeah, I've got around two full books of dreams and only about 2 of them have 2 seconds of lucidity which is instantly lost :L. But other than that, I haven't dated any of my dreams and I wanted to do so. So I went through my journal and started to try and remember which days these occurred, to no avail, but then I could clearly see and mark periods in which I was playing specific games in my dreams (because I cycle through games pretty quickly) through types of dreams that I had, when I was playing Mount & Blade, my dreams were either clearly connected to Mount & Blade or with a similar theme (being in captivity after a lost fight, medieval shenanigans) and as I got closer to the present day, I could clearly recount exactly what I did that day within my dreams, For instance, last night's dream was about me getting weapons for Nightingale, the patron of thieves in Skyrim, I forgot one of them, so I went and came back, when I came back, I invaded someone using a "cracked red eye orb" from dark souls which Nightingale gave to me, when I invaded them, I was poisoned, and half my health was missing, The person who I invaded turned out to be a female friend from school who I liked, then I was filming a comedy for my friend, which then became me and that particular lady friend doing parkour/skating outside our school grounds, then I turned into my favourite YouTuber (but I was still me) and I was with his group doing a raid on a parking lot safe house kind of thing, which changed the theme to a kind of Zombie Survival thing and then this same dream repeated twice, because the filming for my friend took place in the same parking lot. I could clearly mark out that dream with the stuff I did the day before, and anybody else could probably do that too. Can anybody else say that they could do this as well? |
