something that scared me..

hey guys! well, i'm 18 years old for starters & i used to have these dreams when i was maybe.. 7-12 years old & all in between. It's weird, i just remembered about this, i suppose because i've been so focused on dreams lately but i used to have these really REALLY real dreams, i'm not sure if they were lucid o.O but maybe you can tell me, they were so bloody scary.. the things i feared most from for example - horror movies used to be right infront of me when i used to fall asleep in my lounge room by myself.. like right there SO realistic, a couple examples are the masked fella from the movie "scream" & one time it was a freaking BUDDHA because my mother used to have this little red buddha.. hahahaha i don't even know but yeah i just used to freaking freeze so scared & then after a moment just run right through them like crying straight to my parents room! what do you think? was it just a really big imagination because i was so young? could it be a LD? vivid dream? thanks for reading!

Nightmares are common at that age. Kids often have a big imagination. Your experiences sound like vivid dreams but not LDs. They would be LDs if you recognized them as nightmares inside the dream and attempted to wake yourself up. Thanks for sharing! Buddha

oh i did recognize them as nightmares! that's something i forgot to mention, i used to always do this thing when i knew i was having a bad dream, i'd roll my eyes back up into my head & it would hurt enough to make me wake up
