What is the Tone of Your Dreams?

What is the general feel of your non-lucid dreams? What is your subconsious's style, if you know what I mean.

I'll share with you mine as an example. My dreams are very nonsensical and cheery. They usually have many themes and layers that don't make sense. And even if the subject matter is dark and dreary, the dream can find a way to make it happy. Well, unless it's a nightmare. Just last night, I dreamt that I was a part of an intergalactic team that was tracking down all the Miley Cyruses in the Universe. (I would put an dream journal entry for it, but I barely remember it now.)

See what I mean? Your turn!

My dreams are usually about me having to run away from someone/something. Occasionally, I'm driving, or trying to find the bus/train/airplane.

Existential, about situations that explore the mechanics of logic and social structures, and emotionally visualized.

My dreams are typically relaxed in nature. I'll dreams where I'm at work, at a party, watching tv, on an outing with family or friends, or doing a project or playing a game with people. Even the nightmares I have typically have a sense of humor although occasionally they'll consist of me having a panic attack. Rarely am I ever in any danger of any kind in my dreams.

Many of my dreams are quite calm. Usually I do things that are similar to the things I do in my daily life. At times I get involved in some robberies or run away from criminals, but even if there are thousands of reasons for me to freak out I usually stay calm... It's strange, but I really like it
Some of my dreams have a dark and sad atmosphere, but most of them are just nice and I get to know lovely places I really LOVE the atmosphere of my dreams and sometimes it is sooo lovely that it's stuck in my head for the next week and I keep thinking about it and discovering new details. I love having those kind of dreams.

Mythic, nostalgic, and kind of cynical, but I enjoy that.

Lots of stories about war and jail and failed love affairs that have nothing to do with my waking life, a fair amount of chatting with gods and demons and dead people, and a lot of flashbacks and reminiscing and guilt trips over things that never really happened. The other night's involved hanging with a murderous angel in a cancer ward, that about sums it up.

I have never had a nightmare in my life. My dreams are relaxed, calm, and fun. Quite often I am around people I know, like from school.

There's a different atmosphere to each one. Just about every time I wake up from a dream, I feel like the feel to it was so unique, I can hardly imagine my mind came up with it. It always feels somehow 'different' from every other dream.

I guess most of my dreams involve weird, elaborate situations, which range from sort of far-fetched to completely how-the-****-did-I-not-know-I-was-dreaming insane. The tone is usually on the negative side, because there's always some problem or situation particular to the dream that I'm focusing on, but I also tend to be emotionally attached and numb compared to real life. That part's kind of weird actually, I guess. When I do feel emotion in a dream, it's incredibly strong, but it doesn't happen very often.

It's pretty normal for me to have violent dreams, or dreams about struggling against an adversary in some way. Because of that, my nightmares which are very rare tend to be less violent and more psychological.
