How the interaction with the environment affect our dreams

Interestingly, the physical interaction of our bodies with our environment can alter our dreams. Sometimes I dream that I am in the middle of a huge storm. The wind blows fiercely and it is intensely raining. I wake up with cold and I notice that I'm sweating while the air from a fan positioned in front of my bed is projected against my face and torso. Obviously the air projected by the fan against my body is what made ​​me dream about storms. This has happened more than once. If I sleep without socks and I feel that my feet are cold, then I dream that I'm walking barefoot through the streets.

I agree. Just this morning I had a dream that I was falling from the sky and I could feel the wind in my face. The fan was in front of me irl. Haha. Anyway I think it's called dream incorporation? Not sure. Another example which happens to me a lot is when I hear music in real life and it seeps into my dreams and becomes a concert or something. :)
