      I interpreted your sentence wrongly, I thought you stopped recalling dreams the moment you saw a specific girl in your dream.

      dms111 explanation makes sense to me, it could be the excitement you're getting in real life which is affecting your concentration for dream recall. Have you tried any methods to improve dream recall, like staying still the moment you wake up for 5 minutes and try to recall your last dream?
