Shapeshifting

Has anyone experienced shapeshifting in a dream? Care to share that experience? Being an animal enthusiast, shapeshifting is a very interesting topic for me. I always strive to either start the dream as a being I am not, or shapeshift within the dream if possible (which usually only happens if it is a LD and I've not had too many of those). In the past I've become a shark, wolf, werewolf, and on several occasions a horse. In each case my body feels "normal" yet it works differently... if that makes any sense. For example as a shark I felt like I had legs, yet could not move them apart as they were transformed into the singular form and tail of a shark. My favorite form is the horse however, and I consider myself lucky to be able to experience that relatively frequently in dreams! A form I would like to experience would be some sort of flying creature... perhaps an eagle, owl, or even dragon. Please share your thoughts and experiences!

While not completely shapeshifting I have morphed my body (I may have actually shapeshifted before and just forgot it xD). For example the other night I gave myself wings and flew using those for a change of pace instead of just magically moving. The feeling does always seem rather natural even though it's clearly not. It is wonderful using wings to fly though even if you don't have as much control or simplicity compared to just levitating. I've also swapped genders but that's a whole other story .
