If I dream of you do you dream of me???

Last night I had a dream about someone. I do not know if this was an astral dream where we were both together in dream reality or what. But it felt real. Anyhow I was wondering if anyone else thinks that if they dream of someone that person also dreams of them..What do you think??????

Shared dreaming is a disputable topic. When I'm dreaming of others, they're usually dream characters; nothing more. Maybe it can happen...with effort? I've have 'lucid dreams' in which I'm trying to convince others that they're dreaming. Haven't proved successful, no shared dreams yet. Your guess is as good as mine.

I THINK I had a shared dream with my now 9 year old son once. I think he was 4 at the time so I don't recall the dream. But... we were eating breakfast and he started to say, "That was so funny mommy when you...." and it was something crazy from my crazy dream the night before!!!!! I didn't even remember my dream until he said that! Talk about crazy. I said, "That was my dream honey, how could you know that?" He just giggled. It has never happened since and to this day I still don't have any idea HOW it happened.... or WHY.... interesting nonetheless!

in rare cases I have not experienced this kind of dream interaction. But I have only tried were in we were dreaming the same thing but we did not see each other in our dreams.

Dreaming of someone doesn't mean they also dreamed about you. Shared dreams is completely different where you are BOTH in the same dream together. Hope that helps! -Chase

Thank YOU!!!!! That pointed me in the right direction for sure! That's what I was wondering...not whether the person had any random dream about me on the same night, but if we had the same dream. Thank you that definately helped a lot...i found a ton of stuff about "shared dreams"..thanks again!!

i had a dream a while back and there was a person in my dream that i had never met. the following weekend i saw the same person at a mall and it was verry odd. I also wondered if that person had a dream about me.

Anyway, my mind still considers it a possibility, I guess.
For when I’m Lucid and aware that I’m dreaming and about to do ‘the dirty sexy stuff’

with a girl I also happen to know in real life, I often find myself in doubt and backing off because of the thought that ‘she could know’ the next day at college.
It’s kind of silly, but it happens quite a lot to me.

It is a very interesting idea. Very unlikely if you ask me, but nonetheless very intriguing and fascinating.
I did have some experiences with aspects of this whole dream-sharing thingy.

Very recently actually, but with a large time span between the two (one) dreams. A girl from my class explained to me how she had a very weird dream and I was in it. She told me how I had to have all my organs removed because of some rare deadly disease. I had a horrible dream long ago in which the same thing happened to me.
Now that was a long time ago, and I guess the whole organ-removal-theme is a common theme amongst dreamers. So it’s probably just a coincidence. But an interesting thought nonetheless.

I had a shared dream once when I was in my teens. In the dream it was night time and there was a full moon. I was standing on the riverbank across the street from my house and watching my brother and three of his friends wading in the water. I entered the water to join them, but nobody noticed me.. All of a sudden one of the boys shouted to beware of the stingrays. I looked around and there were stingrays all over the place gliding along the bottom. Two days later when I next talked to my brother, I wanted to tell him about the dream I had that he was in. Before I could tell him, He started to tell me about the dream he had two nights before. It was the exact same dream, including the boys' conversation, except in his dream, I was not there. I have never had another experience like this , but it really gets you thinking about what is possible when something like that happens to you.
