      Recent Sleep Paralysis Experiences..

So I've had a few not so friendly experiences with sleep paralysis on and off for the past 10 years or so, (pretty much every member of my immediate family has experienced it at least a few times too so I'm thinking it may be genetic) but depending on where I live when they occur they can be more extreme than others. In this house that I'm at now, I've been having some really scary ones, and in one occasion I even got bit by something that left a mark. Last night I got pulled out of a normal dream by some kind of presence, and then I saw myself lying in bed for about a split second before it lifted me out of bed and started tossing me around the room. I couldn't scream, move, or do anything to stop it and I really didn't want to see what was actually happening...all I remember is I kept trying to wake up and I was in and out of consciousness calling my mom's name before I realized she wasn't around and forced myself with all my strength to wake up. Needless to say I've been afraid to go back to bed in my room ever since and am beginning to wonder if maybe SP's really do put us in a place with other, possibly unfriendly entities, and how do i overcome this? I have overcome the feeling of it before and turned it into a pretty sweet lucid dream but when I feel a presence there I become paralyzed. Can anyone explain this?

I also experience SP, there is always a presence of some sort there, i know at the time i shoudln't feel afraid but it is veryhard not to. I have also had this spinning in the air thing, which is awful. I am getting better at relaxing when this is happening, i keep telling myself to relax, dont be afraid.. This doesnt answer your question i know.

One way to break free of SP is to take slow deep breaths.
