Girl in reacuring dream, 5th time

Hey everyone, im a 21 year old male, i keep having these dreams. there is a girlthat went to my friends college shes was amazing, the type of girl to light up the room. one of my friends who is a girl also tryied to hook me up with her because she also knew her. i was at my friends school and turned around and she saw me(she knew who i was from my friend showing her on facebook) so i asked my dude friend to introduce me, we met didnt really talk too much just hi and bye sorta thing. I keep having dreams about her i had one last night i dont know what it means. I have a couple every 2 or 3 weeks i never really thought anything of it but last night was about the 5th time i had a dream about her. what is thiss????

I'm fairly certain that you like this girl. Your dreams are allowing your mind to live out what distance isn't allowing you to when you are awake. Thats my .02 anyway.

I had something similar happen to me. The dream that got me into dreaming was about a girl that I had been with about four years before I had it. She had been a really cool person and at first I thought that I liked her again. I gave it thought and realized that I was just seeking a meaningful relationship and using the most meaningful one as a projection in my dream of what I wanted. I didn't even know the girl in the dream very well but that was the person my mind used to show me what I wanted. I had about six dreams with her in them and they all seem very powerful.

She sounds like she's cast a spell on you. But that says more about you than her. What is it about her that you need? That you feel lost without? That's what you're projecting on to her, idealising her if you like.

Note that this idealised woman may not be nice or may be highly eroticised. Mine is always a stranger, plain-looking, living simply and very liberated with no chance of becoming attached to me for more than a few minutes per dream!

idk guys! i find her ery attractive and my type, im sure she gets alot of attention. i dont know her too well but i keep dreaming of her. the only way to talk/see/cross paths with her is through facebook and thats kind of corny to ask her to chill through messaging lol idk what it means

I know this is very weird but I figure hey, this seems like a fairly accepting place for stuff like this. When I was 12, not long after starting the game Final Fantasy VII the character Aeris appeared in my dreams everyday for over a month, haha crazy and pathetic I know =P. At 17, my first girlfriend that I really cared a lot about, definitely had that light up the room trait, popped up everyday for a couple weeks. Even now a different girl, an ex and an actress appear in my dreams randomly but interestingly those last two usually aren't playing the role of who they are in reality. Straight up, seems like you like this girl a good bit. That or it's just interesting who becomes characters in our dreams. For me a reoccurring person in dreams seems to always go away eventually. Long ago I figured it was just that they were the last person I was thinking of before falling asleep so it would be normal if that was who I dreamt about.

well its funny brecause i saw the girl at the club last niht that i have been dreaming about..shes so pretty damn...its just weird because the whole night i feel she recognized me and was kind of hovering..wen i was sittin talkin to a girl-friend of mine and wen i was dancing with some other chicks, she was lookin at me and dancing real close by with friends. i just feel like its very weird, i have crazy intuition too...but i dont want to satart talkin to her thinking she likes me and make a fool of myself

It's a tough situation, with the stakes so high for you. Difficult to be genuine with all the dream stuff going on. If you don't approach her then someone else will, and you'll kick yourself for ever. What's the worst that can happen if you do come across foolish? No worse than doing nothing. Just say what's on your mind to her - it's far less complicated than going through strategies.

But back to dreams. The girl in real life is not the girl in your dreams. She is real, with a will of her own, not of your unconscious creation. You will find the reality of this girl quite different from the fantasy. But there's only one way to find out...
