Scared of dreaming within a dream?

I had a dream that was obviously a nightmare but for some reason in the nightmare I was afraid of going to sleep for (oh noes) maybe having a nightmare... Does that mean I spend most of my time worrying about nightmares? The actual nightmare doesn't matter much.

Not necessarily, I sometimes have dreams about having nightmares but it doesn't mean anything to me. And I've even had dreams where I've fallen asleep and then, in the new dream, became lucid. There's no such thing as "a dream within a dream", but the dream just changes to a new one.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Okay, it is official. I have had my first dream in a dream on 08-14-10.

I went to BED attempting to WILD, however, I fell asleep since I had really long waking hours. In my dream I was discussing with my mom that I really wanted to Lucid Dream. She had mentioned that chewing certain gum helps. She then gave me three pieces of gum. I chewed them, and layed down to attempt a WILD. I Was successful and jumped into the dream.

Now I am dreaming inside of a dream. Since it is not my direct dream, I was aware that I was dreaming, that it was a dream, but I only had very limited control over it. Im only Semi-Lucid.

A Semi-Lucid dream inside of a dream... It was pretty weird/cool experience.
