      Yes.

If you can't, you are probably using the wrong nose.

It's possible to smell within a dream but I can't recall ever doing it myself, period.
I'm going to do try doing that in my next lucid though, and "summon" a specific smell.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yes, smelling is fun in a dream. Some of the more vivid memories I have of dream smells are things like coffee or fresh cut grass. Things that smell strongly tend to show up more often in my experience.

Yes and no. I don't think I actually smell anything, but I am generally able to understand what the smell is... like the scent skipped my nose and goes straight into registry. Usually anyway, I do smell them when they're important to the dream, suffocating stench in nightmares and the like.

No, I have shitty smelling in real life. Since this sense is pretty much weak, it is probably why I have 20/20 vision, yet everyone in my family wears glasses. Lucky me on the genetic anomaly or the body's survivalistic capability to compensate.

I don't smell in dreams either. It kinda sucks :/
"Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?" And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots. You see, reverend Maynard tomorrow is harvest day, and to them it is the holocaust."

yes, actually smelling is one of my most intense senses while lucid. i tend to find myself flying about trees and then swoop down to smell the blossoms on them. but i usually only experience the sense of smell in dreams intentionally when i try to smell something, i can't remember just randomly smelling things...

I got to smell some fresh, hot pizza last night. This was after cloning up another box for a random guy I met in the hallway, and before trying to eat a couple slices while holding the box and my sword at the same time.

Normally, however, I don't smell anything unless I focus on something with which I associate a certain scent.

I usually smell food. Unless it's a distinctive smell, though, I probably won't dream about it.

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.
