      Visuals before faallling asleep?

Alright so this has been happing to me for maybe a year or 2, sometimes it doesn't but lately since ive paid so much intrest to it, it seems to just happen every night naturally. Basically I will start seeing these rushes of colours coming in, they will disappear and be rapidly replaced by the same strange 'patches' of colour. They will usually be simetrical but not always, and will be in different locations and formations always. As i get more relaxed the visuals can get very profound, various patterns are not uncommon, Its a very hard thing to discribe, but i know that whenever i see that, I know that i will be falling asleep soon because I never come out of it, unless i just cant fall asleep i might psyke myself or almost over think about it and it will disappear which only happened once or twice.

I am just wondering if anybody has this happen to them? or can explain what this is or might be?

Do they kind of look like swerving clouds? If so we all get it

I can take one of two approaches. Concentrate on the images as given or create a road to travel down.

However, I often wonder where they originate, processing methods, real resolution, etc.

Sometimes I see the most beautiful geometric landscapes infinitely morphing--very vivid. Mostly figures and faces morphing. I blank all emotional reaction and just wonder about them.

Once, I saw an iris, and I just concentrated on it. Eventually I went through it and on the other side, was a small table, an open book and a candle--somehow I knew what it meant. Never believed it though, until I received a great deal more education.

One thing I still do not understand. Why is it opened to me? That does not make sense.
