Hello everyone, |
I know what you mean. It'd be good to get some regularity in my life as well. To bad I'm not old enough to join the army... Ultimately it's your decision, but it sounds like a good idea to me. |
"Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?" And the angel said unto me, "These are the cries of the carrots. You see, reverend Maynard tomorrow is harvest day, and to them it is the holocaust."
Don't do it. Your reasons for joining the military are terrible. I used to be in the Marines. Your sleep will be regulated, but you'll be more tired and stressed out than you are now. |
I completely agree with IL. |
You want to join the military to work on SLEEP? I'm speechless. Although they are making the military soft now.... |
I understand the reasoning behind the military to get on a schedule, if nothing else you'll be too tired to stay up later than they want you to, but I'm not sure you'd be able to work on the stuff you mentioned. I can see the air force maybe... on the ground you might get to rest but that's a trade off with getting into combat. I don't know how much personal space you need but with the Navy you won't have much of it. In the end you know yourself and your capabilities so its your choice. If its a strict schedule and discipline you want then go for it, though I wouldn't plan on the dreaming thing till after getting discharged. |
