I still think CC's original explanation is the most logical. It's like scientists wondering why eating food is a pleasurable experience- because it ensures the perpetuation of the species by giving you fuel to survive. Endorphins are released in the brain whenever you do something that's basic for survival or procreation, so that you want to do more of it. |
