I too am speechless, feeling a bit scared, but glad to find some people (still alive) who describe exactly what just happened to me.

I used to get this exact 'thing' at certain occasions all my life (I'm turning 30 in two weeks) but never thought more of it, just thought it was due to a short random brain/heart/hormone bump or glitch. It felt good in a tingling way, but also like I was falling back into a black hole or so. I experienced it also a few times just before plunging into sleep, but it shocked me back into awake, and I considered this annoying, because I was just trying to fall a sleep. Yes, it felt like falling! Real deep space falling! Nothing frightening, just falling.

Well, just today I was working after a very short night 4 hours sleep and early start. I work as an airline pilot, so staying awake is crucial and part of the challenge. So I was looking out of the window and felt I was slipping into a 'micro' sleep, but voluntarily jolted back into awaking. Strangely though, this time I kind of got a hold of the 'squeezing thing' mentioned before! I repeated it a couple of times and felt so instantly awake! My whole body was warm, my fingers where tinkling and my hands where a bit sweaty. Wow! I looked to my captain on the left, he was struggling to stay awake, and I was instantly fitter and alerter than ever before! Also I felt an alleviated awareness of my surroundings, a calm and clear line of thought and I felt miles ahead of everything.
I could still 'squeeze' this 'thing' all during the approach but I was scared I was going to get a seizure or such, so I quit doing it. On the ground I immediately googled 'voluntary adrenaline rush' and landed here. Read everything I could find on this stuff, also checked and confirmed that my pupils dilated. I'm still trying to confirm my heart rate change. It's so strange, I also feel like I know you guys... Maybe because it's such a personal experience. Well, I always thought the involuntary occurrences where common and that everybody has these. But pumping multiple times down my spine and getting tunnel vision or increased focus, together with this warm glow all over my body, just at will? I had to google... I'm so very thankful of the medical work some of you have done, because I was really freaked out that my heart or brain would explode... But you guys are doing it for years already and some of you seem to have passed the half century, so apparently it's not as toxic as chronic hard drugs use?

Just to confirm, I can also remember all my dreams every night, and have often experienced OBE or LD but have never really gotten into it. I am mostly able to get goosebumps, or shivers down my spine at will (like when hearing good music) even without thinking of anything in particular, just concentrating and looking at my arm hairs making them go up. I can also cry at any time with real tears, without thinking of anything sad, just twisting my mouth and feeling an intense heat welling up inside making my tear glands secrete (even when just typing this post). I'm pretty athletic, could always learn new physical things faster than everybody else. I started eating vegan since a year and am a bit obsessed with treating my body well. Contrary to that, I've also always been intrigued with mind altering drugs, and as being Dutch, had access to everything under the sun. But those were other times, now I'm of course a professional man. I can confirm a previous post that 'it' feels like the onset of MDMA, though contrary to drugs, that come and go much longer and slower, this comes instantly and it goes within a second, so fast I can only describe it using the word 'electricity'.

Well I'm so hyped to find more people, and to find that it is actually real, and rare!
I also notice that after a few 'bumps' or 'rushes' it gets harder to make it work again, fleeting in intensity.
I did the little iphone camera heart meter, and got a resting of 40, a few seconds later got around 88, then back to around 50, but my hands start shaking a bit so it's hard to conduct. Maybe I can train to get bigger results? My bumps last for about 5-10 secs, then I can't 'squeeze' any more. But after a few secs rest I can do it all over again.

I would like to know if I'm doing any damage here, else it would be a welcome technique to use during my flights. I just hope my company doesn't google my name and find this weird stuff, thinking I'm doing experimental stuff in the front there, risking peoples lives? That's also why I need to know if it's safe, else I'll quit doing it forever...

If you can use this without adrenaline-feeling attached to it you can make yourself some kind of high It feels after while like I'm pumping more blood to my brain and thats why I feel clarity and kinda high. It seems I'm able to use this longer when i listen music or while I'm relaxing with eyes closed. I use this electric often so now its realy intense and goosebumps are all over my body. Now I can maintain this for how long I want and still intesify this feeling. I treat this as an expanded consciousness state.

Try this music with electrical feeling Don't know what music you like but just try this and pay attention to words while hearing music

Few years ago I was into acrobatics. I learned back handspring watching my friend. It was like I know how it feels to do this just by watching. That's one example.

I know what you mean. When I was kid I was scared cause I could amplify this adrenaline feeling without any border. I mean there was no limits and it felt like something strange will happen if I make this stronger and stronger. As a kid I thought I will teleport if I make this strong enough but I was too scared

I don't know but after checking with pulsometr I could make my heartbeat rise from 90 up to 160 so i don't think you can safely do this for extended period of time. Also adrenaline feeling feels like I have to squeeze and force myself to make it happen. Electrical feeling is less invasive.

huh, ok. Again sorry for my english
