Hey TS (or anyone, really), does Stevia taste like an artificial sweetener or does it taste like sugar? I am immensely picky when it comes to the taste as that artificial flavor just makes me go "Bleh!" I really wouldn't mind using an artificial sweetener if it didn't have that flavor, so I'm curious.

I can only speak for myself, but I don't notice any bad flavor or after taste when I use it. It is highly concentrated so it doesn't taste good to put a drop straight on your tongue, but when mixed into things it adds a lot of flavor.

It has really helped me. I have not eaten any sugar since last Thanksgiving--and I mean nothing at all that has added sugar in it. That means I make almost all my food from scratch and don't eat out much or eat packaged things.

When I crave something sweet I can usually be satisfied by using something with stevia. The toffee flavor is great on sliced apples. The chocolate flavor is great in milk. The orange flavor is great in cottage cheese. If I add a few drops of grape stevia to my water with apple cider vinegar it tastes a lot like grape soda. And that is just a start.

Anyway, it has just made it a lot easier to stick to my healthy eating goals. I won't eat any other artificial sweetener (for health reasons), but I feel good about the stevia.

I really like agave nectar for a non-sugar sweetener. Low glycemic index, too.

I've been keeping up with my workouts when not working, just haven't had time to get online.

Everybody keep up the good work!

If you guys want something sweet, try Miracle Fruit. It makes anything sour taste like sugar. Come to my party on the 21st, and I will be serving it up:
