Just over two hours of aikido tonight.

Name: Dan
Age: Old
Current buddy: None
Want a buddy: Naw
Cheat Day: Whenever
Physical Goals: I've been fairly inactive this year, so I want to get my leg and core strength back up to backpacking condition.
Days you'll exercise: Any
Cardio Routine: Walking 8 - 12 miles, running 4 - 6 miles, hiking 5 - 15 miles, occasionally inclined treadmill walking/running.
Weight Routine: I have to be careful with weights because I have a damaged shoulder. Mostly moderate dumbbell work up to 40 lbs for arms, chest, back... can't do the 70's anymore. Plus general core work.
Current weight and height: 220 / 6'1"
Why are you joining: I should be at 190 - 195, so I'm 25 - 30 pounds over right now, and not in the condition to do the killer backpacking trips I enjoy. I'm eating horribly, and my discipline is crap lately... I know precisely what I should be doing and how I should be doing it, and I'm not doing it.
Damn. I was gonna run today, but ended up drinking beer and smoking pot instead :?
Sounds like a good Saturday to me!
I want to start doing this again. I hope my life will calm down and I can focus.
For those of you who followed my DJ and remember me talking about my sister that had cancer...well, she died a few days ago. I had a hard time concentrating on fitness for a while while she got sicker at the end. But now I want to be the same kind of fighter that she was and work on keeping myself as healthy as I can.
Went jogging with hand weights tonight. First time in a very long time...the feeling of freedom, the utter exhileration of it all...the wind, the speed, everything was just...indescribable. I love fucking my body up to its breaking point. It feels like I'm a well oiled machine pumping out oil instead of sweat. Jogging is very cathartic for me ^_^. Today I ate a blueberry wheat bagel and drank a strawberry protein shake.
Shadows, I am so so very sorry for your loss. My heart and love goes out to you and your family. Keep fighting girl
Jogged with 3.3 lb. hand weights in each hand for about twenty minutes tonight.
Ate three bowls of fruit loops for breakfast (soymilk), Some vegetable ritz crackers with a healthy garlic and herb cheese spread for lunch and finished the night off with two pieces of baked fish, a salad and an ear of corn for dinner.
God jogging feels so fucking amazing.
This health club is pretty cool! lol. Although i dont have a routine, ive been doing P90X for 2 weeks now. Its really killer and i would advise buying it! Ive lost about 12 lbs so far and i plan to lose about 28 more. Earlier this summer i ran 3 miles every night monday through friday for 3 weeks before getting P90X.

Hand weights?! -dies-
Let's see, these past couple weeks... There was way too much good food. xD I went on an 8-mile hike up/jog down a mountain, and some other hikes... kayaking... ice climbing... and a lot of walking around.
Alaska. =)
Kayaking is fun. Even though an iceberg fell on top of me. That's a bit of an exaggeration, but it's fun to say. Really it just pushed us aside. It was pretty neat though.
Fucking tore my body up again tonight jogging. I use a lot of expletives when describing my runs ^^. I think I do so because I feel so free from problems etc. when I just amp up my iPod, hit the track and let 'er rip. I feel unstoppable.
Jeff, I think you might be addicted. ;P
I need to start doing this stuff again. And stop eating muffins.
Cardio... right...
Good job TS, I so want to go kayaking again. :(
Last night I jogged again, and I jogged harder than I have jogged in a very...long...time. I just couldn't stop, I had to keep running. I'm noticing my face and body overall slimming down. So I guess that means something :P I wanted to lose 10 lbs. from the start of my jogging (two weeks ago) and I think I may have lost 3 - 4.
My friend and I have been making canoeing a weekly thing (Sundays), going out on the ocean for hours at a time. It's an INCREDIBLE workout.
For yesterday:
Name (Username suffices): Hidden
Cardio workout(s) done today: Jogged a mile, part of which was uphill; stretched
Weight workout(s) done today: Nah
Areas of body worked today: Legs
Current weight: 154... =/
Current buddy: None
Foods consumed today: Honey Nut Cheerios, a banana, strawberries, one blueberry (eww), a few slices of bread, an ice cream bar, and maybe something else...
Drinks consumed today: Milk. I think that's it.
Nice job Hidden, keep it up!! And that meal plan for the day sounds delicious (minus the ice cream :lol).
Jogged last night...didn't eat the right amount of foods in that day so I felt more tired than usual. I still managed to pull off my typical routine though which is good.
=O How can you not love ice cream?
You definitely wouldn't approve of my meal plan today. Family BBQ thing today, with way too much dessert. Not even going to put it up.
Yesterday wasn't bad though... I don't remember what I ate, but I biked 4 miles and played capture the flag for over an hour.
Edit: I... can't... double-post... It feels too wrong. =P
I was planning on jogging 1 1/4 miles, but I ended up doing 2, plus I walked another 1/4 mile. I think I might be getting Jeffitis.
Mostly ate fruit today, except for a handful of cheez-its. They're delicious, but they're way too addictive. Apparently I'm having hamburgers and salad for dinner.
A little bit every now and then won't hurt Hidden :cooler:
Jogged my usual routine around the elementary school out back. Ate grilled chicken for dinner. No expletives...THIS time.
A little bit of double-posting or a little bit of extra jogging?
Hey I've started jogging recently and I've just been doing timed runs for 2.5km, 5km, and 10km. I'd like to find someone I can compare running times with so I can stay motivated. I'm starting to train for triathlons with my university in a few weeks too so if anyone is into that it would be cool to talk because I've never done one before and swimming is probably my weakest point.
