Synchromysticism needs a new thread.
For those not in the know, synchromysticism is the study of the profound in the seemingly meaningless. The word synchronicity was originally coined by Carl Jung. Synchronicity was also used in James Redfield's Celestine Prophecy, where one's seemingly meaningless coincidences held, in reality, the next step of one's spiritual journey.
SYnchromysticism differs from synchronicity in that it is mostly a study of art and media. It is about finding connections in movies, books, etc... For instance, different actors often serves as resonators. In fact, there's a pretty well developed sync being examined with Hugh Jackman right now, that at the very least, provides and interesting read.
