Yes. I really hope it does too. God forbid they try and silence him. They keep on spending money, more money, and more money...but obviously that makes the problem worse. You don't spend your way out of debt. Stimulus packages and bailouts are a joke.

To my knowledge, the federal reserve has not rigged any elections, or been involved in any whatsoever. Federal Reserve employees are unelected private citizens.

You might be surprised. They might just find something in there that outrages even their bought and paid for government lackies.

I am proud to say that my state rep. is a co-sponsor, one of my state senators introduced the senate version of this bill (s. 604) and the other is a co-sponsor for that one. Vermont is doing it's part, are you? Call and write your senators and representatives.

i have been actively campaigning to get this passed or atleast do what little i can. My rep refuses to listen to my area urging him to co-sponsor this bill saying basically that he knows best and we are idiots....shows the power of your vote i guess....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand this bill's made it through the House. However now it needs to get through the Senate which I believe is more prone to lobbying/corporate interests/whathaveyou. I'm very happy its picking up steam but there's a long way yet to go.

I wouldn't say we can 'rest easy' if the bill passes, its the first step of many. But its damn sure an important one.

I love it. It's a great idea. The big spending has got to stop. And I mean... it has GOT to STOP.

If Ron Paul runs for president in 2012, I will vote for him. I just really hope he runs as a Libertarian or an Independent. He doesn't have any significant chance of winning the Republican nomination. Maybe he should run as a Republican at first to get attention and then go Independent when he doesn't get the nomination.

I have decided that I am through with the Democrats and the Republicans. I have voted for both. They had their chance, and they failed. They are the same big ENORMOUS spending party that agrees on pretty much everything when it comes to passing laws even though they put on the illusion that they are big rivals. They are just putting on a show and making the government way too powerful... together. Let's vote them all out of office. We still have that power, for now.

I know I supported the Iraq war, but it's about time for it to be over. Now I am full blown libertarian again.

If things keep going like they are, the war is never going end. I mean just look, the war in Iraq has been going poorly so now we are focusing on the war in Afghanistan, which is going poorly as well.

We have been at war for the last 8 years in Afghanistan and the last 6 years in Iraq. That is 6 years we were warring in two countries at the same time. And people wonder why our country is going bankrupt.

The same jerks that gets us into all the wars and stuff, and who love big huge government, are the ones who run the federal reserve. Damn straight we better audit them. Even if their not up to anything criminal, which they probably are, I will bet anything there is a huge amount of wasted money involved.
