Energy (Non)Crisis?

With all the content online these days, it's difficult figuring out what's fact and what's fiction - but I just gotta throw this out here and ask, have any of you heard of this before? Could this possibly be legit?

So....oil companies and the American government are conspiring against the people for the financial benefit of a few individuals? What else is new?

Whether it's true or not, we already have enough reasons to develop alternatives to fossil fuels and stop being held hostage by those that control it. Even if supplies were infinite, it wouldn't matter.

Very true. Two hundred more years of burning oil will result in the world turning into something along the lines of postapocalyptic fiction.

Life turns to death. Air turns to fumes. We turn into mutants. And roaches rule us as our unquestioned masters, the only beings on the earth not phased by the horrors of industrial advancement. :eek:

This is a sad situation.
