I certainly don't have Fear/Pain Tolerance! But you're right about women being socially agressive. When boys fall out they make up within like 5 minutes but girls remain arch rivals for years. It's funny .

You mean a high one?

The details with the fear/pain difference is convoluted and more marginally different than anything. It is not even really worth considering. Males tend to be sucks and females tend to seek help more.

Lol, you know what, I actually find it funny that gay peopel (yeah, gay people) have much less pain tolerance than straight guys. I mean, even if an insect touches an homosexual (and I also refer to myself here) they go crazy about it, just like an average woman would.

At least no choice so conciously apparent.

So why do many homosexual males exhibit female-like tendancies?

Do people choose so consciously how they act?

I'd love an alternative perspective other than my own on this.

Hey Cloud, i know it may seem sometimes a bit exaggerated of gay people to act on things. But believe me, I do feel quite creeped in any circumstance. I say I'm a much better mom than most women I know, for example. You know those TV channels that show plastic surgeries? OMG that is hell on earth, really, it makes me so disgusted.And I say I'm also more empathic than the average guy - i often find myself even responding to the actors' emotions on TV. And finally, I'm not really physically violent, but I can really get to hate someone if they give me reasons to.

I know personal experience is mostly biased, but I'm basing this on comparison with other people

Honestly, I think that gay guys may have more female like tendencies from how they were raised.

I know tons of gay males, and a handful of them are VERY masculine [almost more masculine than alot of the straight guys I know], a handful of them that are VERY feminine, and a hand ful of them that have a good balance.

I realized that alot of the more masculine ones were raised with very very VERY masculine backgrounds, the more feminine ones were raised with more females than males, and the neutral balanced ones were raised in a more gender neutral enviroment.

I know that doesn't stand for EVERYONE but I've noticed alot in most of my homosexual guy friends. I don't have many completely lesbian friends, so I can't say the same for them.

Maybe sexuality has nothing to do with it. I know straight guys who are more feminine or masculine in nature, I can see it for the same reasons.
Would tomboys have been raised in a more masculine environment?

Gay men also have higher estrogen production than entirely heterosexual men.

Thus, you see residual "female-like" behaviour which is sooo stereotypical but fundamentally showing how culture has raised each gender.

Further, gay men also have varying brain-structures than heterosexual men. However, I can not think of any references to prove this, so I am not specifying.. (I think a thicker corpus callosum..)

Hey Patience, I complete agree with you, but I also believe your surroundings can define your sexuality (before puberty of course). It is a really complex matter: people usually have that stereotype of "gay" in their had that obbeys the rule: feminine man, masculine woman. But I actually think that, physiosogically, gay people are different from the average for their sex, no matter if they let it show or not.

Yeah I've noticed that too, and family, enviroment, and what not definitely play a huge role. I mean... if everyone in the world was bisexual, and that was all a child saw from birth, then they would see it as totally normal because that was how they were raised to believe.

Actually Kushna, yes. I was a HUGE Tomboy until about 3 years ago when I moved to the city and started adapting to girly things. I used to never do my hair, only wore t-shirts, barely any makeup, then I moved here and noticed the difference. The funny thing was though, there was 4 females and 1 male in my immediate family, but the CITY I was raised in had about 4 or 5 boys to every 1 girl, so I was raised hunting and playing with the boys.

I am still very tomboyish [and very thankful I was riased with mostly guys to say the least] but now I look more the part of female than I do my used to be tomboyish looks.
