Sorry.I believe,the complete ancient flower of life is a link back to the collective unconscious,that carl jung speaks of.

Unlike other mandala,the complete ancient flower of life has no design,measurement or straight lines. The complete flower grows organically from the first circle onwards,it draws itself. This is one of the resaons why the flower is called the creation mandala. I forgot to add...... the flower should be contemplated in darkness,only have the computer on,no lights.

The point of no lights is to get tunnel vision.

It does have a design, though - you have to make new circles in a certain fashion, don't you? Also, I would think that a straight line would be easier to make without instruments than a perfect circle.
