I had been talking to my friend who was almost in the Navy seals. The poor guy actually made it through BT. Basic training for the Seals known as BUDS - Basic Underwater Demolition School. Some of the crap he endured wow.
That in itself he had to deal with physical pain and endurance challenges. HE got what is now his wife pregnant and dropped out after the BUDS training.
My point, what was it again/
He had never gotten as far as to get into some of the physiological training that they also do.
We were discussing pain. He seems to have a high tolerance for pain anyway which I am sure is a factor.
How much can pain be manipulated?
I don't feel pain. Can you believe yourself.
My thoughts were recognition. Pain is our bodies mechanism to tell us something is wrong. If we recognize it as such we can then perceive it from another angle.
I tested my theory.
The results were scary. We have incredible capabilities.
Add adrenaline to this and wow.
How far have you pushed the limits of physical pain?
