Are Films Getting Too Sick?

this is interesting. it seems these movies are just for shock-value since they lack any sophistication. they are only about pushing it to the limit, but then what is the limit? these movies would seem to be way over the line a few decades ago, so where will it stop?
it is also interesting to see what different cultures consider "going too far". i forget the name of it, but there is a japanese movie where the whole movie is just up-close shots of a guy meticulously cutting up a body.
i don't find anything of value in the direction horror films have taken. i personally find hitchcock to be much more intense!

Well if you dont like those types of movies you don't need to watch them. Many people like those types of movies, and for some people they just aren't for them. So I'm glad that they have a broad selection.
