I agree with that but what I think is relevant here is how your intellect stands compared to the average person.

I somewhat agree with Lëzen but my standpoint that there are different intelligences in the brain still remains, and what you describe would fit in under the "ability to think logically" intelligence. You can be intelligent in so many things, but in modern society this is what we praise highest, since one's ability to think logically falls through just about everywhere...

I don't think someone's intelligence can be measured in ONE test. There are so many different kinds of intelligence. You can just slack off in school but be a genious. Maybe you suck at math and science and dont really care, but you can still be a genius just in a different subject.
