Depends on the method of travel. If you were suggesting flying around the world than I'd rather shoot myself. Walking or cycling on the other hand I wouldn't mind travelling a bit. I would definitely stay within Europe, although there are plenty of beautiful places on earth I don't feel any particular need to travel 20000 km just to see something equally spectacular as the mountains in my neighbouring countries.
The problem with Europe is the people. For example, some friends of mine recently visited Italy, and they needed to rent a spot on the beach...three months in advance. You also have to pay to take a shit in a public toilet. Combined with the oppressive taxes and regulations, shitty economy, claustrophobically small living spaces, Europe is a fucking nightmare.
Let me guess they decided to visit Rome or something like that. No where have I ever come across a beach that you have to rent a spot for unless you want a beach bed, same goes for toilets. Oppressive taxes?? regulations?? Shitty economy? claustrophobic small living spaces? What the hell are you on about? Europe is a breeze, off course you would know better your from Canada. I can't even comprehend how much bullshit is in your post.
Nope, it was a small beach village.
You're not allowed to bring your own towel or chair, so that effectively means you have to rent one. What don't you understand?
That's a lie.
Now you're just making yourself look stupid.
Over here in North America, we consider 100 sq ft to be a small apartment. We're spoiled that way.
Jelly?
If you ever want to experience Europe the way it is and not how it was described by your knowledgeable friends you can come over, instead of just wasting my time bullshitting.
Just stay at home, I guess Europe is more for people who can actually find their way around.
One priority of mine would be to go to the great barrier reef in Australia, or find a reef that's equally as or more cool, and take underwater photographs of all the colorful-patterned goings-on.
Don't waste your time dutchraptor.
Srs just click ignore....
Watfaerer, you better get to it. It's disappearing pretty quickly.
I want to go and see it too.
I want to visit Iceland, Sweden, England (countryside), Alaska, Canada, China, Japan, various places in Malaysia, Africa and more of Australia than I've seen.
I'm going to start with Australia this year, and if I can get enough money, Iceland or Japan within the next 2 years some time.
I'm not sure how long I could do it for tbh. I think a pretty long time. Years. But I'd have to actually do it to know.
I also would love to travel by fishing boat wherever possible. That would be awesome, plus you get good money so I wouldn't have to worry about saving up.
I just want to visit a different country every year, and live in a different country for 6-12 months every decade. That would be sweet. I want to see every continent, every climate and every culture I possibly can.
Here you go buddy, here are some pictures of the countryside where I live in the county of Devon down in the Westcountry :)

Ya both england and Ireland have really beautifull places.
I graduated and after I pay back my debt I'm gonna travel the world. Been waiting for the moment I can start for years. :D
I want to go to as many places as I can, so long as they will have me.
What do I wanna accomplish? Depends. I really just think it's gonna be a fun, awesome adventure. I want to sail, so I know there's gonna be a lot of learning, discipline and I will need to study so I don't get myself killed by doing something silly. But one of my goals is to run an awesome business that will help out in some way. I think software is a good place to start for that (I've been studying programming for years now; still I am studying more and more because this stuff is always changing...). Then I want to see how many resources I can develop with that business to build stuff that can shake things up in the world (in hopefully a good way).
I don't know how long it will be until I can start. And I don't know how long it will be until it ends. But I'm willing to spend years on it, in either case.
Why begin to travel when you are already a traveler?
Of course I would go if I could-- and I would go everywhere. Do I have to pick one place? I've already traveled a bit, so I would probably start somewhere I've never been, close to home and then work my way east. Canada is probably a good start, then to Mexico and Latin America before crossing the Atlantic.
I would want to see new cultures, learn things I never knew about, indulge my senses in new sights, sounds, smells, etc. I would like to write about the things I experience on a blog or something, and post pictures/videos. I would want other people to be able to see things they might never experience otherwise. Above all I just want to learn about the world first-hand.
Of course, I'm sure I would want to return home at some point but... honestly, those feelings of homesickness are kind of overpowered by the fact that I could go anywhere I want/do anything I want. I'd like to think I could travel indefinitely, as long as I could make stops at home every now and again. Why do anything else?
Yeah lol, that's basically how I think about it. Being on the adventurous move constantly seems like it would be one of the most satisfying possible things to do in life. There'd be so much natural beauty to see, different foods that are really good, different people to meet, it seems like it would never get old. That seems like a good plan, I'd have to think about the order of the places I'd go for a while lol.
