No I have a philosophical problem with petitions. A petition is a statement basically saying that you believe in something but you're NOT willing to fight for it, hence the petition.

Alright, that is cool. I have already emailed all of INTA and I plan to start calling them too. But, I figured I would start with the emails. You and everyone (who believes in freedom of information/speech) that is currently reading this should contact them as well.

yes, in the same way spending money is basically a statement saying you want someone else's things, but you are NOT willing to steal them, hence buying things.

Meh, I just subscribed to both threads.

There's positive and negative aspects. One one hand, this thread has a good presentation which deserves to be an OP rather than just News in the other Acta thread that would be grazed over at best. On the other hand, the redundancy makes it difficult to follow the topic if you don't already follow it on say... twitter or some other news website.

I have gotten two replies to my emails so far, and both of them are against ACTA. So far, so good.

Those e-mails were for my posts telling you how annoying this is.... lol

I don't believe anyone who uses the internet regularly will support ACTA.

The only visible change that ACTA has on us now is making our lives more difficult with downloads. If they're going to implement it, I'm curious how will people stop it?
