Yay, more jobs for pilots! We actually have one of those in my city. They use it to check on grow-ops and meth labs (infrared cam) as well as check for traffic accidents and speeders.
I once jokingly asked the pilot why I saw the plane circling over my house, but he wasn't too amused :(...
Spoiler for :
I think we have one of those here. I've always wondered about a very slow flying cesna that would fly in circles for hours.
Hm yes, because every plane has infrared video cameras on it. I don't think you can see through someone's roof with a normal plane....Quote:
The Supreme Court has upheld in two different cases that police aerial surveillance of land surrounding a house or property without a warrant does not constitute a search, since anyone flying overhead can observe what is occurring in that space, and therefore the owner or residence of a property under surveillance has no expectation of privacy.
The cops here just use helicopters. And they flyover ALL the fucking time, even in the winter, when people would only be growing inside and hopefully use reflector sheets.
It's the only reason I haven't started a grow yet.
That's ridiculous. What a waste.
"If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear." Except for that horrible feeling of always being watched...
Well that's comforting coming from a pilot. Because I always wave at planes and copters as they fly overhead. Now I don't feel like a moron.
