They totally should have just started one up, and not related it to the charity at all.
"So PETA, where's all this money coming from?"
"We have our sources."
Ha.
:cackle:
Oh damn. Mixing animal torture footage with porn? They're gonna create a whole new category of depravity.
My educated guess is that this plan is going to fail miserably.
Whatever. It's not going to stop me loving a big juicy breast every so often.
Thread is now for ridiculous meat/porn puns.
Still gonna nibble the odd wiener though.
At least it is some sort of fame to them. Not sure if positive though. I don't mind, if it is HD and girls are actually pretty.
Dude - from the article:
All I can say isQuote:
Visitors to the X-rated site will initially be presented with pornographic content as well as images from PETA's salacious ads and campaigns, Rajt said. Those images will be followed by pictures and video shot undercover of the mistreatment of animals.

Which jackass came up with this idea...?
Come for the porn, stay for the mistreatment of animals.Quote:

If they have to resort to putting porn on their site so people will look at the animal rights stuff, that's just sad.
I'm all for animal rights - the only meat I want to beat is my own.
ED threads that turn into a a list of puns are the best.
Anyways, I don't understand the rationale behind the decision. Out of the many ways there are to access porn, what incentive is there for people to visit the one site that has images and video of suffering animals? It would be like a political party who wants to broaden their audience to people who like pizza (a lot of people) by making a pizza place that also pushes their political agenda in your face. If I go to a pizza place the chances are that I'm prooooobably there to eat pizza, and not to view political material, as the makers would have expected.
Too bad, because I'm for a more compassionate approach to how we treat animals. PETA is going to make this issue look retarded to everyone else.
The other day I saw a furniture store and the sign said "free ice cream".
So maybe PETA is just like, "free porn with every animal abuse video that you wouldn't watch otherwise".
I can hear it now. "dakotah why have you been to the PETA site so much??" "mom! Don't you believe in animal rights?"
Lol yep, I'm thinking the same thing as a couple of you guys.
It's well documented that applying a stimuli with a cue makes people (or animals) relate the two.
Ironically Ivan Pavlov proved this by seriously mistreating dogs.
PETA's tactics have always been extreme or pornographic... and they really do nothing useful in the way of helping animals. Look at some of their past advertisements and campaigns, I'm really not surprised by this.
I don't know about you guys, but videos of animal suffering usually doesn't turn me on.
I foresee this becoming one of the creepiest places on the internet.
PETA has the wrong idea and the make everyone for animal rights look like dumbasses. Fuck ya, Peta.
