Anyways, I don't understand the rationale behind the decision. Out of the many ways there are to access porn, what incentive is there for people to visit the one site that has images and video of suffering animals? It would be like a political party who wants to broaden their audience to people who like pizza (a lot of people) by making a pizza place that also pushes their political agenda in your face. It's well documented that applying a stimuli with a cue makes people (or animals) relate the two.
Ironically Ivan Pavlov proved this by seriously mistreating dogs.
PETA's tactics have always been extreme or pornographic... and they really do nothing useful in the way of helping animals. Look at some of their past advertisements and campaigns, I'm really not surprised by this.
I don't know about you guys, but videos of animal suffering usually doesn't turn me on.
I foresee this becoming one of the creepiest places on the internet.
