I can't remember ever seriously wanting to be a girl, but I can understand where you're coming from. If you don't mind me asking, are you gay?

I love being male.

I wish I could switch genders for a day and have fun with it. But I wouldn't want to be a girl for an entire lifetime.

Girls can be really mean to each other though. I think socially guys get a long with each other a lot better than woman do.

I think girls actually have it tougher socially. While us guys are always dealing with being shy vs. being bold, girls tend to deal with things on a more rank based level. Social status and all that jazz. Even meeting cool REAL men can be tough. The hotter you are, the more you have to deal with men putting on a show and not being themselves. If you talk to some beautiful women about this, you'd be amazed at what they'd tell you about their perspective and experiences when they are truly opening up to you. Definitely, not everyone's the same, but many people in our society deal with similar issues and problems.

But if your reasoning is sexual preferences, I can certainly understand where you're coming from. I love being a man, however, it isn't exactly something EVERYONE wants to be. I believe that as you continue to go through different life experiences, you'll learn more about what you prefer in many situations. These experiences will show you your preferences

I've heard good things about menstruation.

I think women definitely have it harder in today's society, so I wouldn't want to be one permanently...at least, not in this day and age. Add in that I'm attracted to women, and...yeah. Not much good can come of that.

On the other hand, were things more equal and lesbians in greater abundance, and I didn't have to go through the whole genital mutilation surgery bit, then yeah, I think it could be fun. :3

Yeah I'd agree that women have it much harder in today's society. There's so much pressure to be beautiful, and girl cliques are vicious. At least that's how it was in Mean Girls...

There's nothing wrong with feeling this way. If you really want to "go through with it", one way or another, then don't let society stop you. It's a good thing that you're exploring these parts of your personality, and talking to other people about it is very rewarding, as opposed to just thinking about it all the time.
Personally, I also sometimes felt like I wanted to be a girl when I was younger, it's always been something I've thought about, but now I'm pretty confident in my gender and sexuality. Like many others, I wouldn't mind trying out the other side, but it's not really something I burn for. Maybe you'll end up feeling this way too and just be an ordinary bisexual person, maybe you won't.

I think it would be fun for a while, but being physically weaker would probably get annoying.

And how many guys get raped compared to girls, like seriously.

As a transgendered person, I'll be glad to help if you can give any more details. From what you've said, you don't sound exactly transgendered, but I'm not sure.

The main thing that's throwing me off is the "boobs would be fun" thing. I don't really want them because I want to have fun with them, I just feel that they'd be more... natural. How long have you felt this way, and do you have any other examples? It's a pretty serious decision to go through hormones (if you decide to go that far at all) and it's definitely not something to do for fun.

Also, you should probably consider discussing this with a therapist.

I'd like to be a girl, but only if I had good parents. If I could be girl who wasn't raised to be a mindless idiot I'd be down. Having boobs would be awesome. plus men's clothing is pretty bad looking.

If you think men's clothing is bad, you simply need to widen your horizon.

I didn't mean to say it's all bad, just that women have better clothes. More options.

But a lot of mens dress clothes or buisness attire or whatever you wanna call it looks stupid in my opinion.
