Bella would love Edward if he looked like Andrew Lloyd Webber. His attractiveness is totally irrelevant. It is really just a total coincidence he looks like a Greek God, it's really not relevant to the books or films. |

You're right. She doesn't love him at all. Neither of them love each other. Meyer's herself frequently compares the story to Wuthering Heights and Romeo and Juliet. Apparantly she is really bad at picking up on themes. Romeo and Juliet have about as shallow a relationship as Bella and Edward, just as Heathecliffe was not a positive person to have a romance with either, (and not in a 'aww, star crossed lovers!' sort of way but in a 'No, stop it, you are just making yourself miserable pursuing this guy and it hurts to read' sort of way.). What the couple in question do have is this clingy, sickening, dependancy. And although most 14 year olds mistake dependancy for love, they are totally different. But no one bothered to tell Stephanie that when she wrote the books. I have read the first two and a half books just to see what it was all about. |

Twilight is like a copy of a copy from what i've read? Just that it's with teenagers i'd guess. |
