Thread: Any Zelda fans here?

Count me in. OoT is an incredible game.

I'm not a HUGE fan, but my one friend...let's just say his sword collection includes a replica master sword and Hylian shield.

OoT was an amazing game, and Majora's Mask is also fucking epic.

I started playing Oracle of Ages recently. I'm 5 levels in and really like it so far.

Loved Zelda...
until they decided to become all toonish looking. (windwaker)

Don't be dissing on Wind Waker, that game was really cool.

I'm not a Zelda fan but I thought it looked interesting. I should try it some time. I am a Nintendo fan though. My favorite game would probably be Animal Crossing, its so laid back and amusing. <3

I always compare games to it, even if they're not of the same genre.

I've found that in any Zelda game I've played is pretty good until it comes to the last boss.
In OoT and Wind Waker, the final fight with Gannon is a joke.
As long as you have the Great Deity mask in MM, the last guy is easy as hell, but he's a little more difficult otherwise.

Yea, but Twilight Princess totally made up for it (and then some, that game was fucking epic!)

Gannondorf/Gannon was the definition of epic boss...then again I was like 9 last time I fought Gannon, so I don't remember it too well...but Gannondorf is awesome.

And then there was Gannondorf in TP. good clean sword fight, appropriate for a Zelda game

Yeah I've beaten Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, Minishcap, and Twilight Princess. Favorite games of all time, I still need to look around in buying a Master Sword and Hylian Shield Replica. Wind Waker is my personal my favorite game. The game is laid back and it has a good atmosphere feeling. I still need to make my Link cosplay costume for a con next year. Too bad some cons wont allow weapons and shields... Skull Kid is one of my favorite characters as well. I still need to get around to beating Oracle of Ages and Seasons. I still need to play Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. And Twilight Princess was epic. I'm looking forward to playing Zelda 2 for the Wii.

The games are good. You should feel good for liking them. I liked Link's Awakening the best. Got that on GBC on lockdown.

I grew up with Ocarina of Time, some of my fondest memories come from playing it back in the day. I pretty much know everything about it and have every version (gold N64 cart, GameCube disc, Wii VC). To be honest, one of these days I'm going to try to remake it (with a group of people) with better graphics and music when the technology becomes readily available. I swear, that game is like a religion to me, I've been seriously thinking about it.

So yes, lol I am a Zelda fan, I also love A Link to the Past, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker, though not much of a fan of Twilight Princess...

Anyways, I played OoT when it came out but I was to young to understand the plot at all XD. I still have it and play it semi-often. I didn't really like Wind Waker because it's cartoonish looks but it was still a pretty cool game XD.

I never understood Majora's Mask at all. Pissed me off at the boss fight on the Time Tower or whatever -.-".

Its called Clock Tower my friend :p If you want to pass it call the four giants when you beat all the temples. The song is called Oath to Order. And whats wrong with wind wakers graphics? lol.

I wish I still had my N64 and games. My N64 busted and my mom threw it away. I lost my OoT cartrage and my so called *Friend* stole my Majoras Mask game cartrage. I had MM ever since its release. It was gold cartrage with the holographic cover. Zelda games are rare to find now.

I loved OoT and Majora's mask. Two great games. I like only the N64 versions.

Though I still dont know why so many people hate on Wind Waker. Its a OoT Sequel to adult Links timeline.

I just don't like the cartoony look and childish feel to it. The N64 games seemed so much more epic. Sacrificed quality for "better" graphics.

That is true but I dont mind the *cartoonish look* cause I'm a fan and I like anime :p The only thing I dont like about the game is the puppet Ganon battle. It was hard as hell when I first fought him. Since when did Ganondarf knew how to control puppets?

Oh really? Damn haha... I didn't even know about that. I never got that far because I disliked it.

lol yeah you should try picking up the game again and try making it that far. Sorry if I spoiled Puppet Ganon for you It doesn't hurt to get give it a chance lol. The game gets really interesting once you get to the master sword. My favorite temple is the Earth Temple. Its really dark and mysterious. It has the mirror shield in there just to let you know. And its a kick ass shield.

Majora's mask was soo epic and I beat that game in a day. I was alittle stuck on the water temple but The boss at the end sucked.
OoT rocked!!! Ganon was soo beastin!

I used to really like zelda but i got into other shit. I don't even play video games to much anymore I mostly go outside, read, and come on this website.
