Got a download today. A listen through suggests it's not nearly as impressive as Demon Days; though there's nothing particularly bad it's all a bit samey. It feels like he uses the same drum machine hihat in most tracks.
But truthfully I don't think I know a better modern pop album than Demon Days. Gorillaz is what is right with modern pop music, and Stylo is quite an addictive song. I'm going to have to investigate Bobby Womack. Originally Posted by Taosaur
