      when i first jioned this forum there was like 15 ppl viewing total good to see things have picked up.............
      recommend me some great movies, sci fi is my favorite but any gene will do

      The Hurt Locker. Just watched about 2/3 of it (not quite) and it's really good so far.

      Sci-fi though? If you've never seen Aliens I will hunt you down and bitchslap you. And if you're one of these people who hasn't seen Avatar in IMAX 3D yet, do yourself a favor.

      Blade Runner. The Thing (70's version, forget which year). Star Trek: First Contact (ya rly).

      The one with Sam Rockwell? It was pretty good for an Indie film, but I wouldn't call it a masterpiece..
