Prices are pretty much similar. Plus, PS3 slim is rather cheap too. I don't think debating from a price stand point will hold water, especially for an xbox (cost for online additives). However, you are right; a gaming PC is definitely the most expensive.
360 comes with a mic, and for that reason it has a better online experience.
You can buy a mic for like $20..
you can actually communicate with your teammates.
I guess you havn't played PSN..? I have no problem talking with my team-mates at all..?
I don't experience any real difference between the two consoles online. Doesn't it depend on what systems your friends have..?
If you want to debate which system has best online communication, then PC wins by a landslide. (Vent FTW)
of course there are annoying little kids every once in a while, but if you play the right games it's easy to stay away from them. there are a lot less than people say.
This is fairly applicable to all systems except PC. PC costs more and adults take up a large portion of the players online. PS3 has it's fair share of morons too honestly.
the ps3 does not come with a mic, you have to buy them separately, so unless you just like single player games that is a problem.
What..? Mic's are cheap man. Also, how much is your xbox live costing..?
also i have never had a problem with my xbox live, i use a cable which makes it easier. my router is bad too.
i've played games on the PC since i was 9 and after switching to consoles i have had a much better experience. i like the xbox 360 controllers a lot (i hate the ps3 ones, the analog sticks are too close together, the shoulder buttons dont feel right, it doesn't fit in your hands properly and it feels cheap), i also don't feel like the exclusives for the ps3 are that interesting. i was never an indiana jones fan so uncharted does nothing for me. i also don't like mgs.
What exclusive on the Xbox are you so favorable about? I don't see one that's worth mentioning, especially one that is not on the PC.
depends on your personal preferences. mes should get the console she likes best, and she should try them out before she buys. try the controllers and see which ones you like more, try the games or see which ones are more interesting to you, etc.
what kinds of games are you interested in mes?
Best gaming systems is easily PC and PS3. Otherwise, I'd just go PS3.
