I'm thinking Locke is more a Lovecraftian creature from outside of time and/or between universes. You could call that an alien, but not so much the Visitors type. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
What are your thoughts on the secondary plot (is that the right word?)... |

And one more thing... |

Notice that when the show switches from one world to another instead of using the typical sound that appeared when flashbacks/forwards started we hear the same sound from the time flashes. I'm guessing that similarly to those we have seen with consciousness unstuck in time, Juliet was alternating between worlds before dying. |

- Are you an idiot?
- No sir, I'm a dreamer.
So who are these guys that the main cast is talking with lately? Were they always there or did they show up after the big event from the last season. Last time I watched the show I saw the guy who looks a little bit auzy, the fat character, the chinese guy, the terrorist, don't remember the guy |

I'm not into the show enough to care to purchase five whole seasons and watch them, plus I'm far too busy to do that right now. |

I've been watching them on this site, you could use it to catch up. There's absolutely no way anybody could explain to you at this stage. |

The ending of tonight's episode almost came out of the blue and COMPLETELY soared above my expectations. And how freaking creepy was the "Catch A Falling Star" song overlaying the death and destruction at the temple?! That whole ending was almost movie-like, and certainly season 1-like. It makes me... dare I say... hopeful... that the end of all this will be as good as I expected it to be all these years. I don't know, I just have a feeling. |

I too am sad about John Locke. He's one of my favourite characters, along with Desmond and Daniel probably. He was also a really major character so it's a bit weird not even knowing in what capacity he exists any more... it was sad when they buried him, but I don't want the real Locke to be finished with yet. Funny thing is we still have no idea why Ben murdered him (after he mentioned Eloise). |

Final episode on Monday morning at 5am here, totally getting up to watch it! Anybody got any massive theories about how they could tie it all up? |

10 bucks say that the island is an alien spacecraft. |

Lost count of how many lucid dreams I've had

Haha that's not actually a bad theory! Could explain how it moves around, and the "light" is... I dunno, its power source! |

Wow.. I don't know if they could've possibly made a more emotional and profound end. The ending of that show just changed my life.. |

I don't know they really only answered that which was relevant, the rest I think they leave up to your imagination which I'm down with. |

I'm feeling solid closure. |

I liked that ending. They didn't quite explain the ins and outs of the island but it wasn't really important in the end. |
|
I don't know, I'm trying to let it settle in, but now I feel really shafted as a Locke fan and as an atheist (since they went for broke and made a religious ending in no uncertain terms). But especially as a Locke fan. Okay, he's alright in the end, he's happy and he gets to be with his girl Helen, but for six years of leading me on to think that Locke in particular was "special" and meant for a very specific and epic destiny..... well, I guess it was no more or less noble than Jack's. They both died to save the island and basically the whole world. |
