Angels and Demons
i tried looking for a thread about this book but gave up on search page 6...
I just finished Angels and Demons, and i thought it was quite excellent. i realize a lot of the ideas are far fetched but that is to be expected. i read it all in about a 30 hour period so i just had to write a thread and see what others thought about it? anything really. this is a senseless thread is it not? and i also watched the movie and was VEEEEERY disappointed. they left out so many complexities. cheers.

Like the majority of readers, I read Angels & Demons by Dan Brown after reading The Da Vinci Code. I would venture that most people reading this review are asking the question, "How does Angels & Demons compare to The Da Vinci Code?" The short answer is that they're very similar. If you enjoyed The Da Vinci Code, you should enjoy Angels & Demons.

yeah i agree. but i thought angels and demons was a lot better. i dont know why, but it just seemed better. it was a lot more action. and it all happens within a short period of time. so you feel like you are living it with the characters at times.

I personnally like every books from Dan Brown. I just started that new one called "The Lost symbole" looks pretty cool. "Angels and Demon" and "Da Vinci Code" were pretty similr due to their religious analogies I guess, if you read "Digital Fortress" and "Deception Point" they are more axed on the technology, they don't talk abou religion at all. I liked Angels and demons the most. I can't wait to finish "The Lost Symbole"!

i finished the lost symbol last night. it was a good book overall. it seems like they are all pretty much the same to me though. its like he has a formula for his books. but it is a very good formula all the same.
