I saw both ninja assasin and G.I. Joe. Ninja assasin was to violent for me, and pretty much just about violence, while G.I. joe was yes like you said way to much cgi done badly.

I did not see any of the ones you thought were good

But i really enjoyed Avatar I guess hangover was pretty good.

I don't go to the movies much

A warrior does not give up what he loves, he finds the love in what he does

I don't know about worst, but District 9 was amazing.

Avatar was good, but over rated by a longshot.

By far, Mothra (in all of it's forms) is the worst kaiju of all time.

Off the top of my head, Inglorious Basterds was captivating for the reasons you gave; the dialogue was amazing. Everybody's saying that Nazi should get the oscar. It was also incredibly stylish and very funny. Brad Pitt was awesome as always.

Up was another Pixar masterpiece. Beautifully scripted, animated, acted, everything.

Avatar was amazing, I've never had a film experience like it. Just miraculous.

Worst movie; I'm not sure if it was this year but I recently watched Transformers 2. I haven't seen the first but this movie was a pile of crap. 'Explosionexplosionexplosionexplosion' nonfuckingstop for hours and hours. It was actually uncomfortable to watch.

Pubic Enemies was pretty bad too.

I feel like I need to see transformers 2 so I know why it's being bashed so hard. I actually liked the first one, but I'm a sucker for robots.

Has anybody else seen The Road? It's a great movie, but it only came out in select theaters, so I wouldn't doubt that only a handful of people on Earth have seen it.

Xei beat me to it! Transformers 2 was so bad, i didn't even bother staying to watch the whole movie.

my favorite would have to be either Knowing or Avatar... which almost had the same message to them, though most will think me "lame" for it.
