Lately i've been in the mood for some good old black comedy movies so I thought we could put in our favorite movies of this "genre" into this thread.
Here's my list, in no particular order:
1. Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
2. Snatch
3. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
4. Lucky Number Slevin
5. War, Inc
Delicatessen, definitely. Also Snatch, if that counts.
Watch 'In Bruges', great movie.
Saw Big Nothing recently.
Was good.
Burn After Reading
so many great flicks to choose from...but some that spring to mind include:
+ Trainspotting
+ Dr. Strangelove
+ The Great Dictator
some might disagree with the last one being a "dark comedy", but i think if nothing else it's a proud ancestor to the genre...
I forgot to mention The Big Lebowsky. King of all slackers :D he's my hero.
I've been meaning to watch Trainspotting for years because I keep hearing good things about it. But somehow I never get around to it. Thanks for the reminder
